About EcoMeter

EcoMeter conducts comprehensive two-week waste audits for local food and beverage providers. By meticulously tracking beginning inventory, incoming purchases, and ending inventory, we identify massive inefficiencies that quietly drain restaurant profits.

During this audit, our team installs categorized bins and specialized scales directly on-site to accurately track spoilage, prep waste, and plate waste. We evaluate how locally a restaurant shops to mitigate community waste miles, and aggressively review packaging based on local Metro Vancouver recycling capabilities:looking past misleading manufacturer claims.

Following the rigorous audit, restaurants are given a grace period to implement tangible sustainable practices and transition to green suppliers. Once complete, their verified EcoMeter score is made public through a customizable website widget, turning operational efficiency into a transparent, front-facing marketing asset for patrons who care about the environment.
