Why I'm Jumping
I'm jumping out of a plane in July. Not because I'm a thrill-seeker: I'm actually a little terrified. I'm doing it because youth homelessness is a crisis we can't ignore, and this is my 'Leap of Faith' to support the Cyrus Centre.
Every day, youth in our community face choices no one their age should have to make: stay somewhere unsafe, sleep in a car, or return to an unhealthy situation. Cyrus Centre provides an alternative: a path from crisis toward independence through warm meals, safe beds, and mentorship.
I believe that no one jumps alone. By taking this literal leap, I'm hoping to raise $800 to fund a full week of support for a young person who needs a real chance to build their future. This isn't just about my jump: it's about our impact.
